contact lens check-up

had the contact lens check-up yesterday at UKM optometry clinic..

sad vif the result as my cornea is affected by de contact lens ady>.<

though it is not vry serious, but i m still vry worry about my eyes~~

the seniors dat did the check-up 4 me is quite nice and their services are quite pro since i dun noe vry well vif all their stuff..lolzz

my cornea~~b4 i went for de check-up, i noe dat there is something known as "neovascularization"!!!

b4 dat, i was scared dat my eyes would be in dat case coz sometimes i did extend the period of wearing the contact lens~~T^T

now, it is proved dat my cornea of left eye is neovascularized~~i m SAD!!!

though my condition now is not dat worse but haiz....

it is "one-way-ticket" which means it vil nvr gone after it had appeared!!!

wat can i do now is DO NOT EXTEND WEARING PERIOD and WEAR HIGH OXYGEN LENS!!!!

one more, HYGIENE OF LENS is important too!!!

no matter u wear contact lens or not, we hv to wash the lens evryday and the expired lens shud not b used again!!!!

de lifespan of de monthly lens is counted from de 1st day u use but not de times/days u wear it~~

neovascularization is something cant be see which naked eyes under normal light, they used the instrument with brighter light n scan de eyes~~

the causes of neovascularization is due to de insufficient of oxygen needed by the eyes when wearing the contact lens, so the fomation of blood vessels network appears and grow deep into the pupil to obtain more oxygen...

4 normal eyes, those networks all at de surrounding of de iris so when de eyes get insufficient oxygen, it vil start to form new red blood cell networks~~

they showed me de diagram of neovascularized eyes though it is not mine but i m scare my condition vil bcum worse if i m still dun take k of my eyes~~~

and now, my next appointment with those seniors is on 25th of feb, so im being advised not to wear contact lens from yesterday coz they wan to see how is my condition if i dun wear contact lens 4 a period of time~~~

so m i a patient now?? or jz a subject with neovascularization?? :-S

haiz..so dun sacrifice ur precious eyes for the physical beauty!!!! NOT WORTH!!!

it vil block de vision if de eyes are seriously neovascularized!!!

CONTACT LENS~~wear it occasionally is more advisable!!!
